Dr.Jenni SherwoodChiropractic Physician
Dr. Jennifer Sherwood, D.C.
Dr. Jennifer (Jenni) Sherwood first gained interest in a career as a doctor of chiropractic after sustaining injuries in a car accident in her freshman year of college. After a successful rehabilitation and completing degrees in pre-physical therapy and biology from California State University, Sacramento, Dr. Sherwood went on to earn Cum Laude honors as a student at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA.
Having spent the past 20 years helping suffering individuals in her private practice in Northern California, Dr. Sherwood recently relocated to Chapel Hill with her husband and now 10-year-old twins to start the next chapter of her personal and professional life. With a heavy concentration on family, moral-upbringing, education and smothered with Southern hospitality, Chatham County became a natural fit for her approach and philosophy toward her care giving.
Dr. Sherwood opened her office in Governors Village in 2013 - assisting patients of all ages with their health care. In the fall of 2019, Dr. Sherwood purchased New Branch Chiropractic in Pittsboro and now splits her time between the two locations helping Chatham County residents overcome their difficulties and painful physical dilemmas.
Dr. Sherwood uses 'her gift of healing' to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives. Whether patients present with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning, Dr. Sherwood takes a 'whole person' approach in recovery process - looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms.
From headaches, to neck and back pain, to pregnancy discomforts, sports injuries, automobile accidents - and just the everyday aches and pains life deals out...Dr. Jenni can help!!
